The following are a list of sites that are useful and relevant to snowsports in Scotland.

GENERAL

Winter Highland - Useful reviews on actual conditions.

SCOTTISH SKI CENTRES:

Cairngorm Ski Centre - Cairngorm is one of the most popular skiing and boarding 'overnight stay' destinations in Scotland. Recently installed CairnGorm Mountain Funicular Railway. Good "Apres ski" in nearby Aviemore during the winter ski season. 19 runs and 17 lifts. Snowboard fun park

Nevis Range - The most westerly of all the ski areas and also one of the highest. The gondola takes skiers and boarders from the main car park to skiing/barding drag lifts and chairs. Nice areas over the back when conditions permit. 35 runs and 12 lifts. Closest town is Fort William for accommodation and food.

Glencoe, White Corries - Glasgow's ski resort! Just 1.5 hours from Glasgow. Good for a day or a morning. The Famous Fly Paper run, Spring Run can offer some very nice skiing. Skiing at Glencoe is under threat and we understand they do not intend to open this 2009/2010 season which is unfortunate.

Glenshee - Near Braemar. Situated in the east of Scotland, this area runs over 3 valleys and offers the largest lift system of all the areas in Scotland. 38 runs and 26 lifts.

Lecht ski centre, Strathdon, Aberdeenshire. The Lecht offers nice rolling hills. Snow fills in quickly but can disappear quickly too! 21 runs and 14 lifts.
